There are a lot of good shots of Charleston Heston w/ a Dodge 3/4 ton command Car (WC56 or 57?) in this film. Also a Land Rover 109 pickup near the end. |

I added some more vehicles and adjusted some star ratings. With the authorisation of no_car I uploaded some pictures with a better resolution. -- Last edit: 2011-01-09 20:46:53 |

This is the second movie to be based upon Richard Matheson's novel 'I Am Legend' the first starred Vincent Price in 'The Last Man on Earth' also featured at IMCDB which is very close to the original book. Then there's the later CGI-monster laden version starring Will Smith. I am Legend was also supposed to be an influence on George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead series. |

Hi! Great site! Impressed with the research! And I've added a link from my movie fansite - http://test-vaccine-93-b-71.blogspot.co.uk/ Just one specific query/suggestion re. rating for the red Boyertown entry in THE OMEGA MAN. As you've taken the trouble to offer the rating system, which I think is a great idea, may I offer my thoughts for a possible upgrade on this particular rating? You've rated it a single star for 'Background vehicle' but actually the car is used by the main character in the movie's opening scenes, most especially throughout the iconic title sequence, as Heston's Robert Neville hurtles through a deserted, sun-drenched L.A. I query, then, whether perhaps this should not warrant at least a two star rating, if not possibly even a three in view of the iconic nature of the title sequence? -- Last edit: 2012-04-24 12:37:48 |

Hi, Thanks for the link. The Boyertown is not red: the Boyertown is the small van in background. The red car is a Ford, listed on its own page with the appropriate rating /vehicle_1649-Ford-XL-1970.html -- Last edit: 2012-04-25 17:58:38 |

Hey antp! Ok got it. Just shows how much I know! Yup, I see the Ford now. But seriously, thanks for the clarification. Your observation of what's in screen is incredible! You watch movies with binoculars or something? And as for your knowledge of vehicles... awesome! And you're very welcome for the link. Thanks for a great site, and thanks for taking the time to feature my fave ever movie!! -- Last edit: 2012-04-26 20:36:28 |

A couple of years later and it could have been sponsored by Oldsmobile. |
