Stammering cop by day & peoples hero by night 'The Lizard' is a Zorro like character, stealing from the rich & giving to the poor (Apparently the film is set in the 1930's according to a IMDb review)

 So the cars are relatively accurate, by the standards of Hong Kong and Chinese films. :)

(Not that we should complain too much. Think of all those Second World War films with post-war Tractions Avants and Mercedes-Benz 170s.)
