Looks like a Canadian Bay-class minesweeper, but not sure about its specific identity. A handful were still in service at time of filming but the 71 pennant number seems to be fictional/applied for filming. |

Name visible better here, looks like Californian. Could be Californian IMO 5058038: Link to "www.shipspotting.com" - Cargo barge (designed for coastal waters and rivers, not open ocean crossings) built in Vancouver, Washington, in 1946. Scrapped 1986. |
