A completeley made up version of true events, but this is a movie that I love. Gritty, laden with tough action movie stars, and made for very little money, even in 1973. John Milius did a fine job in this film. |

I got to meet Michelle Phillips once and she had fond memories of making the movie (like firing a Tommy gun!). She said it was filmed around Enid, OK. One car is missing: the Model A pickup at the farm where Pretty Boy Floyd seeks refuge. The farmer mentions it hasn't run since 1929 (what, when it was new? ![]() |

perhaps you refer to this /vehicle_596702-Ford-Model-A.html which was reused a lot during the movie |

she actually fired a BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) NOT a Tommy !! but the BAR was much more potent than Tommy since it fired Rifle bullets instead of pistol ones .. -- Last edit: 2017-07-19 23:53:45 |

Unless you are qualified rifleman, its potental would be hidden very deep. |
