They probably filmed a few establishing shots in Milan and then did the rest back home in Madrid.

For what it's worth, all the Italian plates I can see appear to be fake, so some if not all if the Fiats could be Seats :/

you see the problem in this (mostly italian) shot movies, many such ultra obscure machines with no reference today

Yes, I understand. I did find a 1080p source which is good enough to upgrade the current pics, but not good enough to see that script clearly.
