My contribution was deleted and therefore I am writing here. I take into account the decision of the site administration, but I have some questions left. What I mean to say is that in my opinion, I did not violate the site regulations, that is why the reasons of deleting my contribution are obscure to me. When contributing an adult movie, I kept in mind the comment of the main administrator Antoine Potten (antp) to the movie above from 2017-04-03 09:57 : "As long as it is referenced as movie by imdb and others, and that nothing 18+ is seen on the pics posted here, it is ok to list." (see above in archived comments section). My contribution is on IMDb (tt0128750) and had 2 background vehicles: 1986 Leyland Olympian double-decker and LTI Fairway taxicab: As you can see, "nothing 18+ is seen on the pics". What is more confusing to me is the fact that the site already lists a number of adult, controversial and disturbing movies like Deep Throat (1972), Italian Stallion (1970), Water Power (1977), the one above, Cannibal Holocaust (1980), A Serbian Film (2010), The Human Centipede 1,2,3, Gruz 200 (2007), compared to which adult James Bond parody I contributed is nothing but promotion of healthy sex in beautiful tropical island scenery. Yet it was my contribution that was deleted. -- Last edit: 2018-09-15 19:51:53 |

Not me who deleted it, but I understand the decision. The IMDB rule isn't very well explained, even in normal cases if someone sent a "normal" movie where the IMDB was like that film (few ratings and sparse amount of info) a validator would usually ask for more detailed information/other links before it was accepted. Here, the vehicles were also limited to two common backgrounds seen in stock footage rather than vehicles with roles (again an issue that would ring bells for us). Both those things coupled with the fact that it was an 18+ (which some people have not been keen on in the past) probably tipped the balance toward it being deleted. Most of the other films you mention are fairly well known and all have vehicles with roles etc. What I don't really understand is why the page wasn't left up with a comment explaining why it was deleted, someone posted that they were not sure it was worth listing before it went but it was deleted within a day. |

Chicomarx did make a comment about it. He's probably the one who deleted it (which is what he stated he would do in his comment) |

Were those cars relevant to the plot? Those movies you listed like Cannibal Holocaust are obviously a world apart. It was an ordinary porn movie, we generally draw the line there. |
