 Just finished Series one of this, the murderer uses a fairly rare Nissan Vanette E:

 Finally caught up with S3 - I'm a slow reader sometimes. Slow, dreary and boring. Some cars and things, but nothing to get excited about or I could be bothered to capture. None were Saabs.
