Whew! This movie took some doing! I'm spent! I saw this page empty and unloved some months ago and as nothing has changed since, I took the liberty of giving the admins some headaches as I'm pretty sure I submitted some duplicates. I am, after all, a mere dilettante and I certainly can't tell one Ford Mustang from another... The movie is notable for being Dean Martin's last starring vehicle (pun intended). It's not a terribly good movie, but it's a faithful disciple of the Bullitt school of filmmaking as it's filmed almost entirely in San Francisco with no trickery in sight, which makes it terrific to look at. Loads and loads of backgroundmobiles in addition to the dozens I listed. I need to replenish my energy before I post those in a separate comment. There are also two two-star vehicles of dubious visibility. The first one is a forklift which a suspect uses as a cover to escape from the cops: The second one is actually a pair of ambulances that appear after the climax to carry away a couple of dead bodies, but we never see their cabs: -- Last edit: 2023-07-30 14:41:40 |

You can just barely see the top of the front end of the second ambulance in the 6th ambulance thumb, looks like an early-'70s Econoline, perhaps? |

Probably. The 5th thumbnail shows the 1970-74 sidemarker. Don't see the ambulance in the 7th thumbnail, but 1-6 are all Ford Econoline. |

2 & 3 are the same Buick, with another 1969 Buick in 3: 7 is another 1974 Mustang II 9 - 1969 Firebird 11 & 15 are the same 1974 Torino wagon listed 16 - red car is a Chevy II, blue is a VW Fastback also seen in 18 18 - Is a Beetle with a custom 1930-40s car nose replacing the trunklid. It was a popular thing to do back then. 19 - The red truck in the way right back is an International Harvester Loadstar CO (Cab-Over). It was the predecessor to the Cargostar. 21 - is a VW Squareback: |

Looks like the same one in the traffic #3, on the right. Brown car is an early US-Spec Capri (1970-1972). |
