![]() bonusmobile: ![]() IMDb lists this as a "TV movie", but at just 38 minutes it's surely a "TV short". IMDb's entry for it is something to behold in general: ![]() 1. "Photos and Videos" are three pairs of duplicate images. 2. Four of these images show James Dean who has nothing to do with this short. 3. The James Dean images actually belong to the 1954 adaptation of the same short story, but none of them can be found on its IMDb page. 4. The about-to-be verified cast listing includes Henry Fonda as narrator, but not only is he not credited on screen, the narration is clearly done by Ron Howard. But wait! I quite liked the actor who played Burt so I wondered why I had never heard of him. It turns out he apparently died in 1976 after having made only three TV appearances. And yet, his IMDb filmography suggests that his dead self nonetheless wrote or co-wrote five original scripts between 1983 and 1995, and furthermore edited some Argentine TV series after having been dead for 45 years. You'd think such remarkable feats would be mentioned on his IMDb biography page... And IMDb isn't even embarrassed about this. |
