In the opening scene in a quarry we see a very large excavator or some such: The car in the first thumb above is this scientifically obscured station wagon: Three pickups: Blurry, small and dark stuff:

The first is a drilling rig (maybe 40-R or 60-R?), the second is a mining excavator (model number likely something like ##-B). The station wagon is a 1973 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser; I think it's visible enough, and it reminds me of how Oldsmobile chose to present the Delta 88 Royale in the 1973 brochure: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org"
