Vintage elevators: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL342384946D0D01B4 Obviously not as interesting as traffic lights or floor mats. |

As a local you should know at best about the appearance and rarity of the specific cars |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtqWB6ZQP6I It's an interesting topic indeed. By short googling I haven't found out, if there's a fan-scene for that, but it's more than probable. Just this scene has a lot of fans: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inb1NxdoKNc When this building http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staatsratsgeb%C3%A4ude was still accessible for the public over 10 years ago, I made an interesting discovery - the elevators inside were built by a private owned company from Leipzig. Which was for sure, as all other left over middle-sized private companies in the DDR, closed down in 1972 by the order of the Nomenklatura. |
