Plenty of car crashes and chases! Reuses footage, the first act, and several actors from Jackson County Jail, a 1976 grindhouse film that, like this film, starred Yvette Mimieux and was directed by Michael Miller. Largely an upbeat comedy remake of the latter film. Took me long enough to cover a 1978 TV movie! Airdate: December 2nd, 1978 (though it had debuted in a French film festival September 9th) |
