@police car fan: I'm sure you already know it, but the new vehicles (and the same shots) you provided are already listed in the normal Superman II /movie_81573-Superman-II.html : I'm not sure if re-list them here...

It's just a director's cut, there's no real point having a separate page for it.

It is more than a director's cut, since the 1980 movie only shares 40-50% of footage with this one.
So there is a point. Cf this comment posted on the admin forum (could have been posted here too...)

In the 70s Superman and Superman II were filmed simultaneously with the intention of releasing the two a few months apart. As production costs escalated the decision was made to stop work on the sequel after about 80-90% of it was completed. Instead the focus became to finish the first movie, get it released, and recoup some of the investment to fund the sequel. After the first movie was released and became a huge success the director; Richard Donner, was fired and replaced with Richard Lester who proceeded to reshoot most of the already completed film in order to comply with rules that require the accredited director to have been responsible for at least 51% of the film.

Decades later fan support led to Mr. Donner finally be given the opportunity to release the movie as he saw fit. The new version of Superman II only about 40-50% of footage is shared between it and the original theatrical release. Also it sets some sort a record as parts of were filmed in 1975 with new pick-ups and special effects completed in 2006.

More than just a Director’s Cut with a few extra scenes this really should be considered a separate movie. The IMDb recognizes it as such; most of the fan community does as well.

It’s more then just a Director’s cut; it provides a textbook example of how disparate directors can use the same raw material and end up with something drastically different.

”The comparison between the theatrical version and the Richard Donner Cut is more than difficult, as both version are very different from each other. Not only the usual additional scenes were added, it is almost a completely new movie. Parts of the story are shown at completely different points in time, other sequences were completely removed and some new sequences were added.”

Even in the areas where the footage that has been shared; such as the big fight, (where most of the cars come from) the movie has been completely re-edited. This would be more apparent if PoliceCarFan had put in the time stamps as he should have.

Plus it finally fixes a major plot hole from the theatrical version:
