A pretty good movie by Jose Padilha, who also directed Onibus 174 (/movie.php?id=340468). The way the film is shot almost resembles a documentary, and it doesn't shy away from showing the brutality of both the police and the drug dealers.

 There are a lot of wrong things about the cars in that movie.
In the year of 1997 there aren't cars in Brazil like Corolla 2003, Golf 1999 and the 4 doors VW Gol.
