The footage cars (all pics are from West Berlin. And all from the early 70ies) are: - Opel Rekord B, 1973 VW T2b Transporter with windows, 1970 VW 1300 in "clementine", Opel Kadett B - Ford Capri I, 1967 VW 1300 - 1967 VW 1300, Peugeot 304 - Peugeot 304, Opel Kadett B (doubtful for me, if a real Rallye) - the same Kadett - Volvo 144 - Peugeot 404 - Ford Capri I - Porsche 911, not younger than 1973 - Porsche 356 - 1970 VW 1600 Limousine, 1968+ VW 1300 - same pic again - 1974 Ford Taunus GXL [TC1] - 1968+ Opel Kadett B Coupé, 1970 VW 1300 in "clementine" - same VW and a 1961 Opel Rekord [P2] |

Footage from the USSR. Except the uniform also indentifyable by the Pepsi-sign in the background. The USSR was Pepsi-country, Coca-Cola wasn't active there. |

Filmed where? Obviously partly in the USSR and the DDR with footage from West Berlin. The Western cars in the DDR-scenes were surely brought by the makers. |

Filmed? In Moscow for sure... About other locations i have no info. When i saw early 90's pepsi commercial on youtube, like "now Pepsi even in Moscow" i think WTF it was years before bloody 90's. -- Last edit: 2011-12-14 21:42:47 |

No, Pepsi came earlier to the USSR, IIRC in the mid or late 70ies. |

I say so. Then in 80's Fanta came on. Only in late 80's came Coca. |

It's movie also has a very cool synthwave/hard-rock music theme. Very untypical for Soviet films. |

I'd say its rather typical. In "TASS upolnomochen..", "Dvoynoy obgon" and many others alot of synthesizer music. |
