One of the couples of characters owns a Fiat showroom in the town where the movie is located (Santa Margherita Ligure, Liguria), and there are some scenes filmed there (you can clearly see in the showroom an Uno 45 Fire and a 126 Bis, both brand new, in addition to an advertising of Fiat used cars). Particularly interesting is the collection of antique cars they own in a reserved area of the showroom In the first one of the pics above, the customer is buying a car for 18,013,500 lire, and when he asks for a little reduction the lady answers that she will give him a free buckskin instead According to Italian price lists of that time (Quattroruote) I would guess that the man is buying a Regata or a Ritmo (in January 1988 a Ritmo TD S costed 18,034,000 lire... maybe with the little reduction he was asking for it's right this one ) -- Last edit: 2014-01-21 12:05:36 |
