I am a design engineer having worked in the automotive industry for 44 years. I have worked in England, the USA and Germany for many of the major car and truck manufacturers both past and present. I found IMCDb whilst trying to identify models I have been associated with. This is after realising I had made no record of the 80 to 120 cars, trucks and agricultural tractors I estimate I have worked on.

I don't consider myself to be a serious 'car-buff' and frequently find there is something I didn't know regarding cars and trucks in general. In looking at films my interest is mainly in the European and American cars for the period from the 1930s to 1970s.
