Mark VIII. WWK is September 1958, indicating two things, firstly an origin in Coventry, and secondly, therefore, possible supply by Jaguar publicity dept. It also opens the possibility that the car might, just, be a MkIX, no visible differences, but introduced for the 1959 model year. Another one across the road, and an Austin A55 Farina Cambridge behind it. -- Last edit: 2020-01-23 09:17:07 |

WWK 190 seemes to be used as a Jag promo plate (Oct 1966 Autocar cover photo of new Jag 420), so a good chance it was a launch example of Mk.IX. And same car here, also perhaps as a factory loan. |
