dsl ◊ 2020-11-03 20:20	Smooth boot means it's Oct 79 VdP Mk3, built at MG Abingdon after closure of Vanden Plas works at Kingsbury. Mk3s were renamed from previous 1500 to 1.5 (752 made, all manual) and 1.7 (232 made with 1748cc, all automatics). Production ended August 80. Is this VdP Allegro the British equivalent of the "much loved" Cadillac Cimarron??
