Indeed a 1987, bodied by Pilato Autotrasformazioni - who actually built a few of these Thema-assed MB autofunebri, as well as some real Thema ones. The car was for sale at Pilato HQ back in 2005 and it's not the extended VF124, just an F124 with extended rear overhang.

Anyway, indeed last MOT in Italy is dated 2003 by plate search..

 @Ani, VIN shows this is based on a wagon S124 (F124 250 D were 124.105, btw they were not 250 TD)
