Still unconfirmed if HK used Ritmo or Strada names. At the moment we're using Ritmo. |

Not any more - they've been Stradised now. Have checked if any untagged by looking for Ritmos in HK-ish film titles - didn't find much, but it was a quick scan, not deep trawl. From comments on various pages, seems most Strada markets were RHD, although US (and CDN??) were LHD. And there's the mirror question - were there any RHD Ritmo markets?? My guess is no, because it was an English-speaking markets change, but we have some comments suggesting Ireland might (or might not) have stayed with Ritmo. |

Nice job, Dsl! ![]() I read somewhere that in Ireland it was Ritmo, but I have no proof..I'll research a bit. Maybe in Australia (if sold) it mantained the original name? Because the 2007 Bravo was called Ritmo there, I believe because Bravo was already registered (by Mitsubishi? But possibly Strada too..) For the same reason the 1996 Bravo was sold as the Bravissimo in Japan ![]() Not sure about Malta, too.. ![]() |

Thanks. I've tried checking Ireland too, but no outcome. Noted that Fiat closed Dublin builds (of everything) 1980-81, so they probably never made any Ritmos/Stradas - nothing mentioned in my bible of Irish builds. If Malta's on the unknowns list, maybe Cyprus as well. And if Aus is on the list, NZ and ZA may follow behind. My memory is that someone decided Ritmo was such an odd-sounding word for English speakers, so they wanted something less abrupt or gutteral. |

Oh yes, of course also NZ and ZA (not sure if it was sold there) About Ireland, I found this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hGf10gn0wSo&pp=QACIAgE%3D It's called Ritmo cup, but I don't think it was nothing official as there are all series mixed (very nice though ![]() Anyway, Ritmo means rhythm, but I read about the issues of this word in English ![]() |
