MkVI Standard Steel Saloon. I can find no further information from my normal sources for either plate. -- Last edit: 2021-05-18 10:28:15 |

23 MkVI Bentleys went to Sweden, either exported new, or later. 18 of these were Standard Steel Saloons, of which 1 was left hand drive. No car was recorded as having the colour combination of the subject picture. I do not understand the thumbnail pictures from 1971, showing the car in dual grey, and apparently having received a dent. If there is any better clue I should be pleased to know. |

johnfromstaffs I thought it was the same car by the auxiliary lights and wing mirrors but according to some guys at the Facebook group A-reggat it's likely not the same car. |

Thank you. I cannot tie the registration numbers given to any Mk VI. If it is possible that the cars in the thumbs are not the one in the main picture, I shall, tomorrow, carry out the same search on R-types because the main image could be either. |

I have searched through the 2323 R-type Bentleys built between 1952 and 1955. Only 4 went to Sweden, 3 were lhd, and the 4th was black. I have not found any car out of 5208 MkVI and 2323 R-type that I would be happy to say is the subject vehicle. |
