Poor Mustang and 9-5 The 9-5 looks like a fairly new model. |

I guess the van rear ended the SAAB? though it has a side impact too? |

I also find it funny that not a single airbag has been deployed (and SAABs like any other car are full of airbags) |

Yeah, but i guess we are used to it, remember, in movies no safety system works |

Yep, a typical film goof, that ruins the realism. |

btw current 9-5 is "SportCombi" in USA, old one (around 2003) was "SportWagon"... which model is it? -- Last edit: 2009-01-13 22:41:05 |

As i guessed there's a side impact firstly, the van t-bones the SAAB causing it to spin several times (though i think they just repeated the first "spin" from several angles, then it stops and the van comes again and rear ends it pushing it into the poor Mustang (which in my opinion is worth adding, as well as other cars that are missing, who's the uplaoder of these pics by the way?) Anyway here are some pictures of the crash. Other cars from the sequence that i think are worth adding: Cooper-S (Not worth adding beause it appears quite blurry as the SAAB spins but nice to see it there) Ford Thunderbird (avoids the Crown Vic that comes to it's way) Ford Crown Victoria (slides) And of course the Ford Mustang A Chrysler PT Cruiser A Mercedes-Benz And I'm sure there are others. |

In the new pics it's clear that it has US-style frontindicators. |

Its a 2005 model, '06 switched to new front end. 2004 models had less stylized wheels. I found a match on eBay: Link to "cgi.ebay.com" |

ok so SportWagon (indeed it is not the latest models) For much older models on the other hand, I do not know... -- Last edit: 2009-01-13 23:13:29 |

Making captures for a theatrical trailer for a zombie movie, I found this SAAB SportWagon again ... (same color, same wheels and same damage including missing left rear tail lamp) |
