Made for Canada due to DRL. |
◊ 2019-12-07 17:19 |
Antp has said DRLs don't constitute a 'Made for CDN' tag. Removing. |

semi-contesting ( agree for GM, would let it for cars that don't have the feature in US ) but will follow.. -- Last edit: 2019-12-07 17:26:59 |

I always thought DRLs should have the made for tag in Canada but Antp said no so I'm following his decision |

When did that rule change? I admit I'm not on the site as much as I was a decade ago, but don't understand why we would change it for cars that we know did not have the option in the US |

around late july but the way ( or did i got wrong as usual ? ) i understand it, would be apllied only with vehicles that has US as origin as they are basically same on both sides of border -- Last edit: 2019-12-07 18:02:33 |

Since you are an admin you can view the thread "Relaxing the tightness around 'Made for". Yes there are two. One in the admin only section and one for the general population. Here is Antp's comment in reference to that : |

Limited trim level, isn't it - gas or hybrid? |

XLT and Limited are equipped with Automatic Headlamps, does this mean DRL in Fordish, or do they turn on at night? |

Yes, as I said there I'm not sure it is useful, but it does not mean we cannot specify it either (i.e. I do not forbid it ) -- Last edit: 2019-12-08 10:51:16 |

OK, but my question was regarding the Automatic Headlamps feature available in the US |

pretty sure those are DRL i had a Pontiac G5 as location for a few days that had that feature and if i remember well the parking lights were also on video from Ford's website looks like their version is for when there is some light decrease -- Last edit: 2019-12-08 15:50:45 |
