Should these be listed as "Otosan Anadol", like the others?: /vehicles_make-Otosan_model-Anadol.html |

Otosan was the factory, but judging by the adverts etc., the make of the perosnal ones was just "Anadol". There is also an "Anadol" badge, which clearly looks like badge of the brand. http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/images/car_info/large/otosan_anadol.jpg http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs11/i/2006/253/0/1/Anadol_by_anitez.jpg The pickups were called "Otosan". shouldn't the pickup be listed as "Anadol Otosan 500" then? |

Maybe, although it sounds a bit strange. In pickup brochure(advert?) in my previous post, there is nothing about the "Anadol" and badge is different. In the Jale link it indeed looks like model name, but hard to say... Personally I see this as two brands, separate for personal cars and pickups. -- Last edit: 2010-05-13 21:51:10 |

Anadol cars and pick-ups were manufactured by Otosan Otomobil Sanayii in Istanbul between 1966 and 1991. Seven Anadol models were produced: A1 (1966–1975), A2 (1970–1981), STC-16 (1973–1975), SV-1600 (1973–1982), Böcek (1975–1977), A8-16 (1981–1984) and Otosan 500 Pick-Up (1971–1991). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anadol |
