Wonder if there's some fakery here? These vans were built (under three different brands) with minimal external changes from 1984 up to 1996 so if you wanted to make one look like it was newer all it would require was a new grille, even just a painted grille and a different badge. It will almost certainly be a rented prop rather than a real ambulance and in that case they would probably go for an older, cheaper vehicle but would also like this to look as new (and realistic) as possible.
