This is apparently the Dick Winfield kustom user SirTweakaLot describes in the movie comments. I also think it started life as a '65 Ford Mustang fastback but since it was so heavily customized (and since a guess I made on another kustom once provoked a fierce argument), I wasn't sure how to classify it.![]() ![]() ![]() It also appears in ep. 1.9: ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-08-16 00:35:53 |

I've listed the marque as Custom Made for now, until someone can provide more information. |

It's a 65 Mustang custom modified by George Barris and Richard "Korky" Korkes for Frank Sinatra to drive in the film "Marriage on the Rocks". Nose is stretched 10 inches and features 4 stacked Cibie headlights (a favorite of Barris before rectangular headlamps were the norm). Ref: Barris Customs of the 1960, by Geo. Barris and DavidFetherston, 2002 MBI Publishing Pg. 109. Also: Cars of the Stars by Geo. Barris and Jack Scagnetti, 1974 JD Publishing. Pg 119 & 134. Look on the "Marriage on the Rocks" page here...it's listed as Mustang Zebra. -- Last edit: 2010-09-07 20:48:20 |
