Actually, it's a 2003 Vauxhall Astra LS 1.4 16V and not a 1.6 like Jeremy Clarkson mentioned. _______________________________________ According to the DVLA; The vehicle details for FA52 DLO are: Date of Liability 01 02 2008 Date of First Registration 30 01 2003 Year of Manufacture 2003 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1389CC CO2 Emissions 175g/Km Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status SORN Not Due Vehicle Colour SILVER Vehicle Type Approval M1 ______________________________________ Clarkson mentions the Astra is a Bugatti Veyron compared to the vans they had. Well the performance figures for the Astra 1.4 16V 5-door Hatchback are rather underwhelming: -0 to 62 Mph in 12 seconds and top speed of 106 Mph. Very leisurely for a Police car, but quick enough to catch 3 middle-aged robbers in three old vans. |

It's obviously not a police car, the companies buy the cheapest level of trim they can then add the type of wheels the police have and add the bits |
