I'm actually the owner of that vehicle (or I was, up until 3 weeks ago). It's a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire that I purchased in April of 2001, and it's pretty unique in that it has that checkered decal, which I haven't seen on a lot of Sunfires, and it came in pretty handy, because I didn't know how many people owned blue Sunfires until I bought one. Anyway, that's a Mike Zeck Punisher decal on the window there, with Captain America decals on the driver side and windshield. You can't see it in this shot, which was filmed under local television station WQED in Pittsburgh, but the car is parked about six inches from the wall, and there is NO WAY to get in from that side. You'll also notice a pretty flimsy-looking fake New Jersey license plate on the front (Pennsylvania doesn't require front plates), which I believe was only made out of cardboard. My car can also be seen later on in the film in this same location (strange how all of the vehicles are STILL in the same place), and also during the scene where where traffic is stopped at an intersection while Heigl is driving around with the naked guy. This vehicle can also be seen in one of the opening shots of the film "Unstoppable", starring Denzel Washington. For more information on the films I've worked on, feel free to check out my talent profile at www.MosserCasting.com/PlanBFromOuterSpace . |
