The engine is a 3,5 litre (3619 cc) with four manual non synchronized gears. It is a very fast car that could drive at more than 80MPH (130km/h). It is not as fast as the 4,5 litre that could reach 100MPH (160km/h) (refer to M45 or LG45 or LG45 rapide) This car did not have hydraulic brakes, because those appeared later, but she had fantastic brakes that could stop easily the car nearly as well as modern cars. This car is now one of the two Lagonda M35 rapide T9 body known in France.
