The first generation 1489cc Farina cars had two designs of fin, the ones shown above on the red and white car for the Austin A55 MkII, Morris Oxford Series V and Wolseley 15/60, and a cut back version with the tail lights leaning in towards the top for the Riley 4/68 and MG Magnette MkIII. When the cars were modified to the 1622cc variant, the Austin A60, Morris Oxford Series VI and Wolseley 16/60 got a smaller fin and the MG Magnette MkIV and Riley 4/72 kept the cut back type, presumably as a partial justification of their extra cost. All the variants had their own distinctive paint styles when two-tone, with differing applications of chrome strips to suit, so identification is generally possible even when you can't see the radiator grille. The A99/110 and the 6/99 & 6/110 were much bigger and heavier beasts.
