As cab-over-engine truck, an F-Something. As F-6xx, it would have the 1949-59 heavy-duty cab, also known as Cannonball: (1954 brochure cover excerpt - Here a DFW, with D for Diesel, W for tandem rear axle) It's in fact one of the only 3 models of medium- and "light heavy-duty" cab-over trucks that were available in 1954 (F-350, F-450 or F-470), with the 1954-55 version of the 1947-55 New Design cab. But only the F-350 had the new grille, the two other having the one-piece windshield but the same grille as the previous years: (1954 brochures) The truck of the main screenshot is therefore an F-350. -- Last edit: 2015-10-16 00:24:29 |
