dhill_cb7 ◊ 2019-03-08 20:42	1999-2001 front bumper and wheels. The tail gate shown in thumbnail 4 is from 1995-1997. Possibility 2 were used OR this one has an older tailgate and tail lamps added. Since the main reflects 1999+ that is where we will leave it.

For inexplicable reasons, they were previously polished chrome variant for 1999 (attention, there are two very similar wheels distinguished by the central stud being a pentagon on the other one) 99: 00: The peculiar thing is I can't find a 2001 non-Sport/Trac Explorer brochure anywhere. Even in the 2001 Ford truck brochure they have the Excursion, Escape, Expedition...and the new 2002 instead. Maybe Ford left it unchanged for 2001 and didn't feel the need to print the same thing again? The 2002s were in production from November 2000 and on sale in January 2001 so the 01 was a very short model year. Also note the different description of the wheel (polished aluminium vs machine aluminium) on 99 vs 00. -- Last edit: 2021-01-24 20:07:54
