The "7" does not mean it's built in NZ. It means it's a grey import from Japan and since Japan uses a different VIN system with fewer digits, the "7" is added to the front to make the VIN compatible with the system used in the rest of the world. 7 = NZ; in Australia, a "6" is added before the VIN for JDM grey imports. -- Last edit: 2017-07-24 13:20:48 |
