This Truck can be any where from a 1981 to a 1986 Model, This truck has the Orange Stripe inside the truck, That came out in 1981 and has the Round air horns, The Last Year for that was in 1986, Before they went to Square Air Horns for the 1987 and Up CL-9000's, Also the Orange Stripe in the Interior ended after 1987, The 1988 and Up CL-9000's didn't have the Orange Stripe inside of them -- Last edit: 2015-10-07 05:11:41 |

CLT-9000 due to the tandem rear axle. Can you please explain (with external sources, if possible) what is specific to the 1981 model year? As far as I know and see, this truck seems to have the 1978-83 square logo (i.e a square frame with the Ford lettering in it. Not to come off Hot, But, Did I say it was a 1981? My question was: What is specific to the 1981 model year? That doesn't mean that you identified this truck as a 1981 model. Anyway, I was talking about real and reliable sources, not about pictures without explanations that could show any model from any model year... And I also understood since my question that your convinced of the presence of the blue oval above the grille from 1980 or 1981 onward. Which is not the case, as the trucks from the concerned model years had still the old logo. |
