Why would it be a replica? |

Actually, there are 2 Lambo's used. When you see the white one driving, you can see it has a red interior, this changes to tan when it becomes red. The 'washoff' white colour is only only used in the actual scene where they wash it off. |

i can't see that. the only time you see inside the white car is when she puts the 155 sign up. there you can see all the door shuts and sills are red, meaning the car is really red |

I think it looks better in white |

Authentic stunning Lamborghini Countach! White definitely looks better. Gorgeous rides and the car isn't bad either. |

Do they break down? |

Yes they did. |

they did the same "wash off the paint and the car changes color" in an episode of knight rider but they accidently used a plymouth fury for the red car and then it mysterously changed to a dodge coronet for the tan car that appeared when the red paint was washed away. oops. |

Only the sill and the inside of the door are painted red, if you look carefully you can see that the interior is a tan colour and the dashboard is painted black. This remains the same interior colour scheme for both cars (if two were used). |

Owned by John Schneider apparently. Supposedly he financed it before the Dukes strike (Coy and Vance) and was worried about making the payment so Cathrine Bach, who was already cast to be in Cannonball Run 2 helped broker the car to Hal Needham to use in the film to make John some money. -- Last edit: 2022-07-20 15:14:13 |

Nothing US-spec about this one. |
