Can we get a closer look at it? It could be a big Daimler from the '50s. |

No, im afraid thats the only picture possible |

Looks like this 1950 Daimler DE27 Barker Limousine: http://hem.passagen.se/daimlerde27/ -- Last edit: 2007-04-21 22:27:28 |

Doesn't the rear look more "round"? And it has a spare wheel on its right front fender. |

Hmmm, yes, you're right. Especially the spare wheel bothers me... So not Barker, but some other coachbuilder. Postwar Daimler limousine is quite sure though, isn't it? |

It's certainly a big Daimler. In view of its spare wheel either a DE36 or a DH27. Certainly not a DE27, since the one and only DE27 with a (one!) outside spare wheel has this spare wheel on the passenger's side. The picture is too far away to judge whether it is a DE36 or a DH27. All three were made with very similar chassis', so that is not a discerning factor. But it does indeed looks like a Barker bodied car. |

..in 1973 very close -too close- to a car-wrecking-yard. |
