My position on the totem pole was a bit below ground level, and at the time of this visit I was probably in North Acton "assisting" a customer. That machine would be in an air conditioned office, and have about as much power as the display of a DAB radio. A reminder of a completely lost world, tape transports and fanfold listing paper, plus a paper tape device, all of them now as obsolete as the makes of car I can recognise. -- Last edit: 2017-03-12 20:55:01 |
