If it's Hawthorn's 1955 winner - it's LWK 343 again a 1951 Mk.VII - which won same race in 1952 and 1953 and finished 3rd in 54, all driven by Stirling Moss. LWK 343 also entered in at least 3 Monte Carlo rallies (1952 #103, 1954 and 1956), and used in 1953 by Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis to gain a speed record (121.704mph) at Jabbeke in Belgium. |
