I've got these wrong too often before to trust what I think the roof may or may not be doing. Instead look at the quarterlights - saloon never had rear quarterlights, but Coupé always did. Plus saloons with front quarterlights (Mk1A onwards) were right-angled triangles with vertical rear side, Coupés had irregular rhombus (I think that's the term) at a slant. Compare Saloon vs Coupé. I think this is a saloon without rear quarterlights - its angle confuses nearside rear so an apparent quarterlight is farside screen pillar, but farside rear window is clear. Mk1A or Mk2, seems GB plate so a UK car on holidays. |
