Cadillac - 1937? - looks to be one of the longer wheelbase models. |

The grill looks like a 36 to me. |

I debated with myself whether it was '36 or '37. I am not sure as it so blurred it is hard to pick out the detail. |

IMHO the year is 1936 (1937 had a fine egg-crate grille, the texture of which would be visible, even from this angle). It's a 4-door model so there are many possibilities including the 5-pass. sedan, the 5-pass. touring sedan, 7-pass. sedan, 7-pass. touring sedan, 7-pass. imperial (limousine) and 7-pass. touring imperial (limousine) ...all of which looked like this car on the outside. Side-nmouinted spare wheels were optional, so that feature does not help. The only way to distinguish between the "Series" (V8 or V12) is by looking at the badging on the side of the hood. As to distinguishing between model types, this would require a view of the interior layout, trim and upholstery. For this exercise, that leaves us with only: "1936 Cadillac 4-door". |
