The Ram 1500 Classic didn't come out until the 5th gen Ram debuted in 2019. This movie came out in 2017. Also, this article refers to it as a Ram Heavy Duty Link to "www.autoevolution.com" Something I noticed. they must have had 2 Ice rams, because this one from SEMA loaned to them by NBC has the regular halogen lights, but the backstage shots have the Projector lights. As said on this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWIJ5vnfjYw, 'one-ton Dodge crew cab [...] long bed [...] Cummins Diesel's manual 6-speed transmission' the only combination possible is (2010) Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab 169.5" Wheelbase 8' BOX Single Rear Wheel. Or simplified: 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab SRW. It's possible that a second unit of the Ice Ram is 2013+. Ram 3500 is Heavy Duty range, 1500 is Light Duty. It's equipped with Mattracks 150M1A2-SA, suitable for Medium Duty trucks (https://mattracks.co/specs/150-series.pdf). Since MY2011, there's no Dodge badging in Ram 1500 or HD range, so 2010 is my best bet (2009 HD range belongs to the prior generation). -- Last edit: 2023-11-20 13:20:12 |
