this car should be under concept and prototype because this car never made it into production. |

IMHO,this is one of the best concepts ever to come out of the States |

such a cool car, wish it was in production |

Either they used two Cadillac Ciens (or their mockups), or the second is a CG (not sure about it) - see yourselves: one doesnt have the CIEN badge, and the other does. BTW the one with the badge appears only for a second and seems that it has another licence plate, too (my guess this is the CG) -- Last edit: 2007-10-13 23:38:39 |

they're lambo doors dumbass. gullwing is mercedes and delorean. |
◊ 2011-03-14 04:46 |
Why the insult? It's childish and unnecessary. And for the record they are actually called Scissor doors, they are only referred to as "lambo doors" because people associate them with Lamborghinis. -- Last edit: 2011-03-14 04:52:38 |

Wut? You never heard about TERRIBLE bands... |
◊ 2011-03-14 23:43 |
I like lots of shit bands but even I find them to be ineffably shit. |

As my nickname indicates, I was born in 1982, so I had no other choice but to experience most of the 80s' music as well as the 1990s and the 2000s, so I think I had to listen quite enough of terrible pop music during that time. There are, of course, countless bands that are worse than the Scissor Sisters, but I've always found them dull and rather bloodless in spite of their shrill appearance. They didn't have any characteristic content; all they did was quoting from the 70s. I don't claim to know each single terrible band, but believe me, I've had my share. |

And there is a large difference between someone who can spell and someone who has autocorrect, and somebody who cannot spell. |

I can't find any videos that show this car in the movie. Can someone tell me if it crashes or not? |
◊ 2017-09-01 17:57 |
It doesn't crash. The engine gets shot a couple of times by the helicopter in a car chase, but other than that it doesn't get damaged at all. |

It's got Lamborghini performance and Cadillac looks. I want it. |
◊ 2020-06-21 09:02 |
GM : we have only one, we want to keep it.. |
ElProvidence1996 ◊ 2020-06-22 04:12 |
I ever manage to hit the lottery, I'm buying it. It's actually in a private museum along with the Sixteen concept. |

I absolutely love the scene of her starting up and greeting the driver, too. |
◊ 2024-03-03 10:40 |
Came back here just to admire this lovely Cadillac. A car like this with sentient AI that greets the driver by name (as shown in the movie) is so good. |

According to the Petersen Automotive Museum, where this car is displayed, the concept and a fully functioning replica built by Fxperts was used in the movie for the chase scene, which makes sense as 1) the real car, like most concepts, barely runs under its own power. This is supposedly a V12, 09 Caddy, 750 horsepower, $500,000 car, but the actual concept uses a V8 and can only travel at slow speeds to move around auto shows and 2) they would never shoot up an actual one-off concept car, it's just too valuable. If you watch the full chase scene with this car, you may notice at the end the wheels are slightly different, looking more like three-piece deep dish wheels instead of the flat monoblocks like the real car. What you're seeing is the replica. |
