Just watched the episode again and the owner explains he fitted it with a 'seven and a half litre modified Dodge engine, pulls about 450 horsepower ....and does 13 second 1/4 mile'. |

Many Zodiacs were converted to hearses by Coleman Milne, but this one looks as being bodied by George Duffy of Dundalk/ Ireland. |

Just received the confirmation from a friend of the guy who provided the Top Gear hearse: It is a Zodiac MK III V8 with Duffy coachwork, indeed. ![]() |

According to the classic hearse register, it still exists but is in a shocking state needing major restoration and was apparantly for sale but otherwise, its 'vanished' off the scene, unless anyone knows where it is and has current pictures? |
