 Wasn't it called "Mitsubishi Colt Starion" in the UK? (as we have two labeled like that)
Or maybe just "Colt Starion"...?

 The later models like this one were sold in the UK as Mitsubishi Starion. This is a 'Widebody', assumed a Turbo but needs confirming.

 What's that "series IV" (mk4) that was added? For Japanese cars we usually only use the year and eventually an internal code, as they are not often referred as series/mk, unlike European ones.

 yes, it was released to UK market as Colt (http://www.oldermitsubishis.co.uk/broch-starion.html), then sold as Mitsubishi Colt. Soon after, the Colt name was dropped.

I've checked with some of the Starion forums, and yes, they give the 'Mk' label as a 'generation classification' and they agree it does not represent the maker designation. So I have removed from title.

Was given after the name of UK-Importer,the Colt Automobile Company(had read that name on a Nineties'Mitsubishi UK-market ads--was shown a Pajero,renamed Shogun)

 That's an 1989-90 model.
Clarkson even says so in the episode. Something about it being the last one imported into Britain.

Yes def last one.Starion stopped in UK in Oct 90 - so H reg would be very rare and this is even later at J reg and registered 29 Aug 91
