I'd speculate that's Leyland Lion in front of it. The false colours are a bit weird. |

Yes, looks like a Lion, it seems the General Manager of JMT was an ex Leyland bloke. Talking about the colours, the film's colourist (had that silly word been invented then?) had probably been to London, and thought that all British buses should be red and white. -- Last edit: 2017-06-19 16:39:50 |

Guess so - it's a bus! The simplest search on the Internet would have revealed the correct colours, but with six hours of footage to get through, who would go to the trouble? It cn get tricky, though - there's a sequence in the Doris Day movie 'Midnight Lace' that sees her in a taxi with back projection. A coloured in RTL passes, followed by a black and white green RF! http://www.busesonscreen.net/screenim29/midlace03.jpg |

FWIW the original footage is from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAva8NUEu1A - for the bus above view from 1:35 onwards. |
