This looks like the second version of the W08. The first was named Mercedes-Benz 19/100 Nürburg 500 (1930-33), overlappingly followed by Mercedes-Benz 500 (1932-36), and continued after another facelift under the same name until 1939. The second series had a slighly pointed radiator grille and the windscreen was tilted back. With the introduction of this series the power rating and name was dropped and only the number '500' was used. |
