Main chosen because it's the only scene with an RAC badge :think:

It's a rental at the Avis airport depot, but a bit odd for being over 3 years old (Jan 72 plate) with a load of Series IIs available as well :think: .

And any customer who willingly selected a 2.8 from the choice on offer was definitely a few sandwiches short of a picnic - it was a disaster of an engine which had a habit of spontaneously deciding it no longer wished to live. And any hire firm offering them for punters to blat down fast lanes of motorways was definitely playing Russian Roulette with a loaded revolver. Ho hum for the 1970s.
