Hauliers in Newton Abbott in May 1968. |

My 1966 Observers book gives the 6x4 tractor units as T3266C at 32ton or T7566C at 75ton but no names. However 1969 Laybird book of Commercial Vehicles has a very similar 6x4 with low loader and says it's a Silver Knight. So Silver Knight T3266C ? Can the owners name be read ? -- Last edit: 2017-07-06 20:14:48 |

Seems to be 'Harvey Transport'? |

Agree 'Harvey Transport' - screen grabs at Link to "autoshite.com" might be slightly clearer. Seems still going today in Newton Abbot as a bus company, possibly with associated Harvey Haulage off-shoot. |

Any one else an opinion on this one ? |

Certainly Mk.1 Silver Knight (exposed radiator, Mk.1 cab), and probably not a particularly heavyweight one, given that it doesn't have a heavy duty bogie. T3266C would seem likely. -- Last edit: 2017-09-14 13:36:08 |
