If so, it'd be an Octopus. Did Albions have shorter doors? |

Oops - not quite right. According to a recent 2-part feature on LAD models in a toy car magazine, all Albion were long door (= round arches, door came down to bottom of bodywork), all Dodge were short door (= squared arches as part of horizontal body feature, door opened only onto this which became a step, also using the wheel hub). The article suggests Leylands could be long or short door (but is confusing because some of the illustrated models are mis-modelled). So all I can say here is it's not a Dodge. |

Thank you. Dodge didn't build an LAD-cabbed eight-wheeler, and I can't find find any photographs of such an Albion either, so I'd go ahead and call it a Leyland Octopus. |

Albion made a handful of their 'Caledonian' eight wheelers with the LAD cab but safe to say this is a Leyland. Had me confused this film because I had stilled it out in the distant past but did not think it would satisy IMCDB as a film so put pics on Flickr |
